Alan November-"Who Owns the Learning"

In response to Alan November's clip I completely agree with his statement that students leave the classroom not knowing what just went on in class. As I have changed my curriculum and am using more groups, I can see a difference in attitude in the classroom as well as a difference on exam scores. I also agree with the statement Alan made about how we need to find the "escape route." I have also seen in my second year in geometry that I taught TOO much information last year. I have changed my approach and have trimmed up the lessons so that students only get exactly what is needed...
